RARE - ETHIOPIAN SOLID BLACK OPAL, 100% NATURAL FROM WEGELTENA FIELDS, WELO ETHIOPIA.

3.60 Carats - 12x8x5mm approx.

This piece is colored, bright multicolor : red, yellow-gold, green with beautiful SnakeSkin pattern.

This opal have crack so it's better to keep for collection.

This opal is hydrophane opal which when soaked in water allows the base color to clear up...sometimes highlighting the play-of-color. If soaked in water, it will take one to two weeks to completely dry out and return to it original beautiful state.
