BEAUTIFUL ETHIOPIAN CUT SOLID HONEYCOMB OPAL, 100% NATURAL FROM WEGELTENA FIELDS, WELO ETHIOPIA.

2.10 Carats - 13x8x5mm approx.

This piece is colored, bright multicolor : green, blue, red, pink, turquoise, yellow with an amazing and very well defined Honeycomb pattern.

Play of colors is bright and dynamic. Cells light up clearly when opal moves and shows sometimes rare blue and pink colors. Their combinations is magnificent.

This opal is perfect to be set in jewel : pendant, necklace, ring, earring, etc... or keep for collection.

This opal is hydrophane opal which when soaked in water allows the base color to clear up...sometimes highlighting the play-of-color. If soaked in water, it will take one to two weeks to completely dry out and return to it original beautiful state.
